More news right out of Microsoft’s Gamescom press event. Mark Rubin from Infinity Ward steps up on stage and we can all guess what he’s about to talk about! That’s right, Call of Duty: Ghosts. We find out a few juicy things such as the game will be making use of “The Cloud” and will be providing dedicated servers for the game!
Rubin also spoke about and demonstrated a new game mode called Blitz, this game mode works similar to old school King of the Hill in an attack and defend sort of way. One team is required to enter a glowing circle which once they’re in, they score points and are teleported back to safety. The defending team are required to stop the attacking team from rushing into said circle – interesting.
Finally, Rubin let us all know that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be making an appearance in a “premium” Xbox One bundle. I’m not sure that’s the same bundle that I spoke about earlier, but you’ll be able to buy an Xbox One with Call of Duty: Ghosts included, a price is yet to be confirmed.
