To celebrate the start of the season pass pre-ordering, Nordic Games today launched a brand new interactive graphic novel – a free, literary prequel to The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief. Available online or on Android or iOS “The Raven Prologue” serves as the perfect introduction to the Raven’s world.
If you’re not quite sure what The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief is, it’s a ‘whodunnit’ type tale set across 1960s Europe full of twists and turns that will have players on the edge of their seats. The game itself is split into three episodes and Nordic Games are currently offering a season pass for all three episodes for just £16.79; That’s 20% off during the preorder phase!
In the game players can journey through what they’re calling thrilling and dense atmospheres with the aim of catching the art burglar – it’s a proper 1960’s old fashioned tale. The burglar, called: The Raven, leaves his trademark black feather clues for players to discover and for some reason help to capture the thief and to protect a legendary sapphire, the “Eye of the Sphinx” on its journey from Switzerland to Egypt.
Available to download now however is a brand new interactive prequel to the game titled “The Raven Prologue”. It’s a graphic novel which sheds light on the Raven’s back-story and his ongoing battle of wits with France’s top detective Nicolas Legrand. With classic 1960’s art style all of the characters are shadows. This minimalist art type really adds to the feel of the story and gets me in the mood to walk around the house with a magnifying glass pressed to my face looking for clues.
The first episode of The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief will be available to download via the Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network, on July 23rd, with the second and third chapters to be released on August 27th and September 24th respectively.
