If you never thought in your Wildest Dreams that Taylor Swift would ever get her own mobile game, then think again. She’s now The Lucky One to get her own game from Glu, the same developers who made the insanely popular Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry games.
Although there’s been some Bad Blood between Swift and digital media, it seems she’s more than happy to Stay, Stay, Stay in the digital space as the star of her own mobile game. Glu announced the news yesterday, following which their shares surged 29 per cent.
“I am thrilled to welcome Taylor Swift, an award-winning singer, musician and songwriter, to Glu’s family,” Glu boss De Masi said. “We realise that Taylor and her global fan base expect a new and highly differentiated mobile gaming experience.
“Glu is equally committed to designing never before seen gameplay elements that utilize Taylor’s unique creativity. Accordingly, we will spend the required development time to ensure this innovation is achieved.”
Glu currently has deals in place with Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, and Nicky Minaj, but will any of them have the same Style as Swift? Well, following the success of her latest album, 1989, we know All Too Well.
