The Visit Gets Creepy with Nanna and Grandpa in New Trailer

M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit goes from charming to creepy in 60 seconds..

I used to be a little uneasy about staying over at my grandma’s because that was the home my grandfather passed away and I was sure I was going to see his ghost at some point. And all though I had a fairly active imagination, nothing quite compares to the weekend trip the two kids experience in The Visit. In a brand new trailer for the upcoming movie from M. Night Shyamalan things get creepy, really, really quickly.

Wise words are spoken in the trailer by the grandfather, who advises the kids to stay in bed after bed time. Unfortunately things get creepier in the day time too and the poor kids can’t get away. Hell, even an old fairy tale comes to life at the end of the trailer as the grandma is slamming the door shut on the oven after the young girl climbs inside to “clean it.” Did you learn nothing from story time?? Jesus!

Directed by Shyamalan and co-starring Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould and Olivia DeJonge, The Visit will open in the UK and US on 11 September 2015.

Check out the first international trailer above, and another creepy twist on the trailer below, there’s also the first poster for the flick, that’s also creepy as hell.
