Have you ever wanted to be a farmer but not have to get up before the sun does? Have you ever wanted the satisfaction of tending to your crops without the cost of buying a tractor or fields? Well now you can with Farming Simulator 2013, although really you already could on PC and Mac but what I’m trying to say is Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can enjoy the game come September!
The hit game from Giants Software boast “Way more than a simple port, the console versions of the hit title bring its fair share of new content: an American map and new vehicles!” And as you can see by the trailer, the American map looks as American as Apple Pie. Just picture the scene wiping the beads of sweat from your brow after a long period of time sitting in front of your console, maybe a glass of home made lemonade in one hand and a hoe in the other. Perfect.
Animal husbandry, crops, sales. It’s up to you to manage and grow your own farm in a huge, totally new world. As you progress in your career and complete different missions, you’ll control more than a hundred farming vehicles and machines faithfully recreated from the biggest names in the industry: Case IH, Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Same, Horsch and newcomer Grimme.
I am really excited for this console outing into the farming world as I’ve been close to buying it on steam more than once! The game drops September 4th in America and September 6th over here in the UK, so not long to wait at all!
As always let me know what you think in the comment below.
