deadislandepidemic5If you signed up to the Dead Island Epidemic newsletter then you’re probably aware that Deep Silver has just opened the sign up page for the “ZOMBA” closed beta.

Head to the Dead Island: Epidemic page for your chance to be one of the first to slice zombies, grab supplies and dominate your rivals during closed beta. If you are picked, you will also gain access to the early access community forum.

If you’re still unsure as to what Dead Island Epidemic is, it’s a brand new free-to-play MOBA or ZOMBA as Deep Silver has named it. The title has support for up to twelve players, split into three teams of four. Each team has to then battle the opposing teams as well as random hoards of zombies located around the Dead Island universe.

If you’re used to Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide you’ll be pleased to know that the crafting system is set to return which according to Deep Silver “There will be hundreds of weapons, trinkets and items that players can craft, and once crafted, these weapons can continue to be improved to fully suit a player’s personality and play style. Combining weapons and their effects and perks will offer an enormous range of possible setups and a new take on gameplay in this genre.”

A launch date is yet to be set for the Epidemic but you can head to their website and sign up to the outbreak now!
