steam saleWe all know the deal by now, we’ve been through this 7 times now! I’ll just cut to the case, here’s today’s top 5 bargains from the Steam Summer Sales:

boi sale

1. Binding of Isaac (Flash sale at time of publishing)- A personal favourite of mine at the moment, this is a seriously good offer for everyone with a computer. This game requires very low specs, and it’s on sale for 99p! I’ve played this game for well over 20 hours, and I’m continuing to do so, because it’s a hell of a lot of fun. I beg of you, buy this game! It was cheap before the sales, and now it’s even cheaper! This is a truly unbelievable deal, and you’d be a fool to miss out.

2. Torchlight 2- A game similar in game play to Diablo 3, this RPG allows you to roam a beautiful world as a variety of classes as you try to inevitably stop some sort of evil. At the very moment of writing this article, my copy of Torchlight 2 is downloading, and you can join me for just £3.74.

fc3 sale3. Farcry 3- One of my favourite games of 2012, this critically acclaimed FPS is on sale for £11.99. This game drops you on an island full of pirates, drug dealers and typical fiends and forces you to not only get off the island alive, but to also save your friends and avenge your brother. Made particularly famous by Michael Mando’s phenomenal portrayal of the villian Vaas, this is a game you really need to play.

4. XCOM Enemy Unknown- A remake of the 90′s cult classic Xcom, this strategy game puts you in charge of the elite team responsible for protecting the world from invading aliens. Build up your base, fight your battles, research new technology and finish the fight that the aliens started. At a nice price of £7.49, I say go for it.

5. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3- We saw Black Ops 2 in the sales a couple of days ago, and now we’ve got Modern Warfare 3. I use the same logic on this as I did on BLOPs 2, take notice of this deal because Call of Duty games have a notoriety of not depreciating in value. Only in Steam Sales will you see a CoD game with a 50% price tag, so take the opportunity while you can, you might just save yourself £20 which could be used somewhere else.

Be sure to vote in the community choice, where you can (potentially) see one of your favourite games featured in the sales. At the time of publishing this article, you can vote for Arma 2, Counter Strike Global Offensive or Unreal Tournament 3. Be sure to check back with us at n3rdabl3 tomorrow for a new batch of sales!
