Last week Samsung finally lifted the lid off the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini. A phone which is more compact than it’s larger counterpart, but with almost the same power.

Much like the Galaxy S III Mini, we expected a mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S IV. For a while rumours seemed to point towards one happening an on the 30th of May Samsung let it out of the bag.

With a 4.3” qHD Super AMOLED display, a 107g light weight and compact design, the GALAXY S4 mini is easy to carry and operate with one hand. The Galaxy S IV Mini comes equipped with a 1.7GHz dual core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. Internally you can expect 8GB of memory with the option to insert an SD card up to 32GB. It also houses an 8 megapixel main camera with a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera.

Along with all of that under the hood you can also expect to find some pretty neat Samsung apps such as the S Health app, S Translator, Group Play, and ChatON.

The Galaxy S4 mini will be available in two colours, White Frost and Black Mist. Commercial availability of the Galaxy S4 Mini supporting either 4G LTE, or 3G HSPA+ or 3G Dual SIM, will be determined by market. So in some cases it could have 4G capabilities.

No price has been confirmed but there has been word that Handtech have the phone on pre-order for £389.99.
