No sooner do I write “Samsung seem to have kept the details on the Samsung Galaxy S IV tightly under wraps” there has been a leak of the details of the Galaxy S IV…

SamMobile reported yesterday afternoon that their ‘insider’ has given them the “unconfirmed” specifications for Samsungs next Galaxy handset. If what they say is correct it looks like Samsung will be ditching their own Exynos processor in favour for the Snapdragon 600. We’re also looking at the processor being clocked at 1.9 Ghz.

The report continues stating that 2GB of RAM is expected along with three variants of 16, 32, 64GB. We should hopefully also see an almost 5″ Full-HD SoLux display – making this the first Galaxy device to come without an AMOLED screen due to Samsung having problems with a full HD AMOLED display.

Camera-wise we’re looking at a 13 megapixel camera, and most likely a front facing camera at around 2 megapixel if recent phone releases are anything to go by. In our last post we showed you a picture of the front of the device with a shape that resembled the oval shape of the SGS III, but most recent images of the boot image of the device it’s shape resembles that similar to the more rectangular cases also shown in that post.

Looking further into SamMobiles reports on the Samsung Galaxy S IV it seems that this phone wont be so plasticy like previous Samsung handsets. Much like the iPhone the SGS IV could come with an aluminium border around the edge hopefully giving the Galaxy S IV a more better quality build.

Like with most rumours it’s best to take this with a pinch of salt! What are your thoughts on the new Samsung device? Are they becoming as bad as Apple releasing a new phone almost every year? Leave a comment below!
