ZTE is the worlds fourth largest phone manufacturer according to 2012 sales and it’s surprising that we haven’t had many ZTE handsets in the UK before now. (technically we have, but they’re usually carrier branded phones).
Good news for those of you who are looking for a mid range / entry level Android handset though, the ZTE Blade III has launched in the UK on Virgin Mobile for £79.99 on Pay-As-You-Go or on Contract for £18 per month or £13 if you’re a Virgin Media customer!
The ZTE Blade III has a 4 inch WVGA (800×480) 65K TFT capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz Qualcomm processor with 512MB of RAM, Storage isn’t too overly appealing with only 2.5GB of memory, but good news is that it supports MicroSD cards up to 32GB. The Blade III boasts a 5MP camera. It also runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
There’s nothing too overly special about this handset, but it’s perfect for those who like to browse the web, check Facebook, and take pictures. and the price is pretty good too!
