It’s that time again! Every day in December up to the 24th of we’ll be bringing you an array of different gadgets, games, and gizmos (some great gift ideas maybe?), along with festive websites and videos all to count down the arrival of (almost) everyones favourite holiday! Be sure to check back here every day for a brand new treat!

Today we’ve got this awesome puzzle called The Brain Cube. Created by one of my favourite sculptors/artists Jason Freeny (creator of the anatomical figure creations) The Brain Cube takes the hand held puzzle toy to the next level. Think The Rubiks Cube but a million times more complicated. The reason for this is because you’re not matching up coloured squares like traditional Rubiks’ you’re actually trying to match up the folds of the brain-like cubes.

To make The Brain Cube even more awesome its not made from traditional plastic, its made from Kraton, a squishy material that feels eerily like a brain. It also comes in its own glass jar to make it all the more creepy looking.

Do you want to know the most interesting part, Freeny always shows his work-in-progress via his Facebook page and a while ago I (sort of) watched the Brain Cubes transformation from an actual Rubiks cube to the product you see here made entirely out of Clay and the Rubiks Mechanism. You can see his progress in his Facebook album.

If you want to have a creepy ass brain Rubiks cube then you can buy The Brain Cube from here.
